Un sarpullido, bastante similar a una alergia en la piel, podría ser un nuevo síntoma del coronavirus, según un grupo de dermatólogos de un hospital en Italia.

El medio The Hospitalist, informó que más de 88 pacientes positivos con el coronavirus, han mostrado este síntoma.

En el país también se ha estado investigando sobre este nuevo síntoma pues, ya han sido varios los pacientes que han presentado esta reacción en la piel.

Según los expertos, este sarpullido es bastante particular, ya que aparece y desaparece.

“Si es transitorio, lo que sospechamos es que un montón de partículas virales están siendo liberadas en el torrente sanguíneo en ese momento en particular”, aseguró el primer dermatólogo estadounidense en investigar este síntoma, el doctor Randy Jacobs, dermatólogo de California.

“Existe la posibilidad que un paciente de COVID-19 pueda presentar inicialmente un sarpullido en la piel, que puede ser mal diagnosticado como otra enfermedad común. El médico debe reconocer la posibilidad de que el paciente pueda tener solo un sarpullido de la piel”, señaló.
